Field Hockey’s Next Step: NESCAC Crown?

After their most successful campaign since 2001 left them with a 12-5 record, and their first NCAA tournament win since 1999, the team will be looking to turn a few heads again this year.

September 3, 2010Danvers' Meghan Duggan has been named captain of the 2010-11 Wisconsin women's hockey team, the university and head coach Mark Johnson announced yesterday. The talented winger is returning to the Badgers for her senior season after taking last year off to compete in the Vancouver Olympic Games. Duggan scored four goals over the course of the Olympics and helped Team USA win the silver medal.
